Rolleston College’s new teaching kitchens have been equipped to support hands-on learning, skill development and a real-world introduction to the commercial kitchen environment. Delivered in partnership with Southern Hospitality Christchurch, the project reflects a shared commitment to education, safety and quality.

Across two teaching kitchens, Blue Seal Evolution G54DF oven ranges were installed, giving students access to professional-grade commercial kitchen equipment used throughout the hospitality industry.

Designed for Schools, Built in New Zealand

With 20 fully operational kitchens running daily, The Kitchen Collective required robust, high-performance commercial kitchen equipment. As New Zealand’s most recognised commercial catering equipment brand, Moffat Limited is proud to support local schools with locally manufactured equipment designed to meet New Zealand standards. For Rolleston College, the Blue Seal Evolution oven ranges were supplied with bespoke burner modifications that reduced heat output to meet New Zealand school building regulations, while maintaining consistent, reliable cooking performance. This tailored solution ensured the kitchens were safe, compliant and fit for an educational environment — without compromising on functionality.
